Stopped in for drinks early on a Friday evening. First time at this location. They have a huge space in this seemingly desolate plaza. I like how big the bar is since that's where I prefer to sit. Just had a few beers, sweet potato fries and chips w/queso. Service was so so. We had a couple of different bartenders taking our order at various times and each one would forget something - whether a water or my sweet potato frie order. Loved the parking situation. Easy breezy with plenty of parking spaces and no valet. Woot!

I thoroughly enjoyed our late lunch here on Saturday. The employees were very friendly and attentive. Our server, Chuck, was great! I love servers who know what questions to ask for every item ordered. It removes the room for error and an unhappy customer. Our food came out fast. This location is large and has plenty of tvs plus a large patio. Oh and we received a free dessert because we checked in on the Yelp app!

Herb Chicken under big plates with sweet potatoes and broccoli. Was actually really good and had a lot of flavor

Love that I can watch the games and fight for free but most of the food I'm not too fond of. .

Server Joey was very good. Handled everyone in his section quickly for a game night. No complaints there. I had a burger, very good. I am not one to break in to song and dance over how the tomato tasted or presentation of the tater tots, so figure that one on your own. There are tons of TVs for game day. The atmosphere is very dark, so be ready. My wife got a salmon dish and it was good as well. Over all great dishes. We used the check-in special and I was looking over the menu only to be told there was another menu I had to choose my desert from. I got the banana pudding and it was just enough to feed a small child. -------- cheap Here is my 2nd gripe. The exterior of this establishment is filthy. The ground can EASILY be pressure washed and pick up the cigarette butts all over the place. It isn't a club downtown. You have 15 people working and prepping, send someone out to make it look presentable.

REALLY wanted to like this place because it has a cool vibe and the servers are nice--- however----- the server didn't write down our order and I was wondering how he would remember it. Granted it was just me and my husband so it wouldn't be crazy to be able to take our order and then walk three feet to enter it in their order system- but....we ordered the chili cheese tots as an app and they brought us our lunch first without bringing the appetizer. Then when they did bring out the food again, they put the wrong cheese on my sandwich and they charge per added topping so I obviously want my order correct. They bring back the "correct" order but didn't bother to take the other cheese off before adding the smoked chili cream cheese so I scraped the old cheese off. The cream cheese they gave me had onion and green chili in there so I asked the server if this was in fact the smoked chili one that I ordered and he assured me it was-- but it tasted just like jalapeño cream cheese you get from the store. Knowing they also had jalapeño cheese, I asked another server and she didn't really seem to know and then made up her mind that their jalapeño cheese was a slice not cream cheese so what they gave me originally was the jalapeño cheese but what I had on my burger now was the smoked chili.... Of course after we left I looked online at the menu and as I thought, they do in fact have a jalapeño cream cheese AND a jalapeño sliced cheese...... So even though it was my first time eating here I somehow know the menu better than the servers.........and the receipt said jalapeño cheese on it so either way they got it wrong but still charged me for it. On top of it, I noticed after drinking on my beer for a while that the glass had lipstick on it... And I wasn't wearing lipstick! GROSS.... Glad both my husband and I were drinking on the beer.... Eek. At least they took the beer off the receipt as they should- but the manager walked by us many times after that and didn't even come to apologize and they still charged us for the cheese despite getting it wrong and not correcting it. Just annoying and really not what we needed after a long day of being starved and just looking for a food place to eat. SO disappointing, especially since we want to move to the area and this could have been a great place to frequent. Learn your own menu guys and get your orders right.

This is your typical fancy-pants sports bar. The place carries what seems like two dozen televisions strategically placed all over the place. This, of course, makes it very easy to disengage from any and every single conversation, if you so choose. Also, service can be a bit touch and go - largely because the staff seems to be run off their feet. For example, why would you have one bartender stationed at a bar that is the length of about six or seven bobsleds - and on a peak night, no less? And why one hostess? Goodness, was there only one server, too?! That said, carve out extra time to be here. And if you are not arriving to watch a game or to be uber attentive to the ones you came with, expect to be easily distracted. Despite the slow service (and I sympathize with the folks who work here) and the barrage of television screens, there are many things I like about Hudson. It has a lot of breathing room. I didn't catch the room occupancy, but this restaurant can easily seat multiple hundreds of people. Nice sizable place. But you don't feel like you are sitting on top of your neighbor - lest you are at the bar. FYI: Bar seating is tight! So if you would rather not sit hip to hip with a bar patron, take a table. There is a nice mix of seating - high tables, bar seating and booth seating. The seating at the actual bar goes pretty quickly, but there are also the less popular high tables in the bar area. Now to the food. The popular go to seems to be the burgers, maybe the wings and also the drinks. I didn't try any of those. I had a chance to enjoy the spinach dip, which is $7 of absolute yummy, cheesy heaven, and the herb chicken. So, yes, absolutely loved the spinach dip. The chips were slightly too thick, but the dip was perfectly done. It tasted homemade. Might well be - I'm not 100 percent certain. The chicken was perfectly seasoned and moist. And it seemed it took its flavor queues from herbs, not salt, which was a wonderful relief. It did not need any seasoning added or subtracted. The side Cesar salad was the perfect accompaniment, and the sauce had a welcomed robust flavor. The side of potatoes were delicious. There were parts where it seemed the chef mashed, then quickly pan fried the potatoes. Lovely flavor, and more hearty than potatoes at other restaurants. Overall, I was quite pleased.

I come here to watch the UFC fights and it gets crowded, especially if there is a Syracuse or Alabama game on. I like the place since it has plenty of TVs and it is large, but it gets busy. If you are planning on watching a game, show up early to get a table. The beer selection is great and the food is good. The staff can really get overwhelmed during events though. They tend to be nice and try hard.

Very nice place. People are locals and friends. Food is excellent. Monday is $6 burgers and they are big. Drinks are good prices and happy hour was well worth the time to stop by. Staff is friendly too

Lame bar food lots of variety and all sub par and too loud. Big selection of items and if you to watch TV they have every channel on.

I have to agree with the advertisements that describe Hudson's Grill as Atlanta's best sports bar. I've been to the downtown location, and it was good, but the Sandy Springs location is even better, with a larger space and bigger crowd. I came here on a Sunday for a Falcons game and it was a great place to watch the game. The bar is huge and crowded. On a Sunday afternoon it's a very lively place. There's just something special about watching sports in the company of other enthusiastic fans who are rooting for their teams. So basically if you're looking to enjoy some food and drinks in the company of a large number of other enthusiastic fans, this is a good place. One thing to watch out for is that you may need to get there early if you want a seat. I came in on the prior Sunday right at 1PM and could not find a single seat at their very large bar. It's a huge complex, with several rooms, and most except for the main room are reserved by fans of a specific team or for a private event. Apart from the ambience, the food, drinks and service are also above average as compared to other sports bars. The craft beer selection is fairly good, not as large as Taco Mac but better than most places. I had a Sweetwater IPA. I had a hummus plate with vegetables and pita bread for an appetizer, and it was just fine and filling. Glad to see this option as most other appetizer dishes are not quite as healthy appearing. The chicken southwest sandwich I ordered was excellent. It was big, juicy, and spicy with the jalapeños giving it a kick. I really recommend it. Despite the large crowd, the bartenders were able to keep the patrons at the bar refilled and kept good track of us. Never felt like I was being neglected. They also were friendly. I really enjoyed coming here and recommend it for big games.

I have a Hudson Grille right by my house in Brookhaven so it is unusual to venture out to the Sandy Springs location for me. However, my old company (80+) was throwing an event there. I never expected Hudson grille to even have an event space that was so accommodating but it was great. It had its own bar, a large projection screen, and plenty of space for all of us. In addition, they catered the party with cheese and spinach dips, sliders, chicken fingers, ribs and more. It was a great event and I really think the space made it. I'd recommend it to anybody looking for an event space for a large group.

Came here after work for happy hour. It was 5:15 and I told the female bartender I wanted a Vodka soda. She seemed confused..."like a splash of soda?" Um no! A cocktail!!!!!! Then it was shift change and a man came in. The first thing he says to me (a blonde) is do you know any blonde jokes???? Last time I checked belittling your customer isn't good customer service!!!! He was a train wrack, but did acknowledge he'd only been working there four days. I ordered the healthy turkey meatballs for my entree. The meatballs didn't taste fresh but frozen. All and all, thank goodness I had good company!

I have been coming to HG for several years with my NFL watch group and always had a good time until this year. The former GM was great with my group and was always accommodating to our growing needs. He left and we were left with current GM who appears less experience, hard to track down and doesn't want to accommodate our group that has had a long relationship with the HG. When we tried to reach out to upper management, they either didn't respond or sent message back to GM to contact our group. Disappointment to say the least, since I was about to suggest this place to other professional organizations for corporate and holiday events. Food is typical bar food, service is ok for such a large group like ours and parking was easy. We get along great with the other sports watch groups associated there so this situation has caused us to look at other places the prefer to build a long standing relationship with large groups who wants our business.

Friends and I came here to do trivia on Wednesday night. So many things bothered me about our experience here that I can't even name one good thing, so here comes my rant: - First of all, they misinformed us of trivia start time. We were told 8pm when it's actually 7:30. It's a good thing some of us got there early. - We ordered chips and queso but our waiter forgot the order. - They were out of multiple beers. Seriously. Our waiter came back at least 3 times for one guy's order because each time when something was ordered, they were tapped out. - Granted we're a pretty large group, but it felt like the waiter was in a rush to get us out of there and even then, he never stopped to refill waters or check on us. The only thing this place is good for is coming to play trivia. I don't get why it takes so long to get a beer or food orders, but I'd hate coming here if it weren't for the fact that they have trivia night.

I suppose it's my fault for not ordering fries, nachos, or some other bar food at a bar -- and ordering salad instead. It's like ordering Chinese food at a Italian restaurant and then being disappointed. It's a sports bar, with ample seating and lots of TVs and it's open late (I had a late flight that got in at 9 pm, so there were few options for dining in the area). I decided to go the healthy route (not recommended) and get the lobster cobb salad. It was $14.95 and it's a huge serving and comes with cucumbers, avocado, lobster, tomato, bacon, onion, chopped egg and blue cheese. I got it with the ginger dressing which was good (almost like a ranch dressing, but with a ginger flavor). The lobster was frozen though, which is never pleasant biting into what is like an ice-cube. I'd recommend to the kitchen staff that they properly defrost the lobster, or not serve frozen meat altogether. Had I known it was frozen (I guess they would never tell you), I would've gone the chicken route. They have a nice selection of beers, and I got a banana bread beer which was really interesting and quite good. Not overly sweet, but definitely with an aroma and aftertaste of banana bread. I'd recommend this beer for something a little different that you can't just find anywhere. If I came back here, I'd get a burger or something unhealthy. Probably much better for just grabbing beer and wings with friends and watching sports, which is what this place was made for. I don't know if I'd be itching to come back here on my next trip to Atlanta, but I'll be staying away from the lobster next time.

What an outstanding place to host an event! Last night I hosted an event to celebrate some work opportunities, and it was absolutely perfect! I have literally zero complaints, and that says a lot for someone like me. During the initial planning stages of my event, I called various other restaurants in the vicinity looking for a private space and someone who would work within my budget. While others hemmed and hawed over my budget constraints and what I was looking for, Heather and Liz at Hudson Grilled stepped up to the plate from the get go. Liz went over every detail, gave me her suggestions and what she would in each scenario, and made it happen! As the weeks went on, I contacted Heather on a couple of occasions as I exercised my right as a woman to change my mind here and there. Heather took care of every one of my requests, and made everything seem effortless. When I arrived for my event, I met our two extremely sweet bartenders who were SO friendly and nice! They took care of everyone exactly as I hoped, and refreshed my food options as needed. In fact, they noticed we needed more pita for the hummus before I even could. In fact, the only reason I noticed, is because I happened to see them adding it to the table. All of my guests truly enjoyed themselves, and many remarked on what a wonderful private bar space we had, and how much they loved what Hudson Grille has set up for us. The drink selection was perfect, as well as the food. I did not have the intentions of feeding everyone dinner, just offering munchies and snacks while we raised our glasses. However, my food went MUCH farther than I ever expected, and all of it was so yummy! The event was scheduled from 7:00 to 9:00 PM, and before I knew it, it was already 10:00 PM and we were all still having a fabulous time. Thankfully, we were not hurried out the door, or even made to feel uncomfortable. They told us to stay and enjoy as long as we would like. Not every place would have done that without wanting some more dollar bills in return. I truly appreciate everything that was done for my perfect event! I will suggest this location to everyone looking to host, and I will certainly host here again myself. Thank you!!

First off, they ran out of bone-in wings so I had to order boneless wings. My food came to the table "ice cold", not even room temperature. The rest of my party's food came out at varying temps; Rubens were warm while the fries and onion rings were barely room temperature. In the future , I will stick to the Midtown location.

I'm not sure if the waitress was just over her life and her job or what. But she SUCKED! and I will NEVER go back to that hudson grille. I timed her each time she left my table. It took her 10 minutes EACH time to come back. That's 10 minutes for ketchup, 10 minutes for a to-go box, 10 minutes for the check, 10 minutes for a refill on water.. She was the worst.. And to top it off, the food wasn't that good; the garlic spinach tasted like oil, literally..and it was 10 minutes to get that changed to a cup of fruit. There was a UGA game on but those TVs were WAY too loud. I've been to plenty sports bars and have NEVER heard a TV that loud in life. I was yelling at my boyfriend trying to have a conversation. AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COST

I would like to give them a four because I come here often but the service and quality is beginning to suffer! I love everything thing about the beer selection and drink specials. The service and food quality is slipping big time. For instance, today, I ordered the ribeye with brocoli and garlic spinach as my sides. The broccoli arrived in the plastic bag they portioned it in, the spinach was soaked in oil and, amazingly, they bought me a sirloin instead of a ribeye. I hate to be that dude that writes bad reviews, especially since I frequent them often and never have any issues, but today's experience was unacceptable! Corporate needs to get new management in here to clean things up!

The setup and actual bar is awesome. Whoever runs the place obviously doesn't care. Bathroom stinks like cat piss & even walking around you can tell they don't do a decent job of cleaning. They didn't have JD Fire, and didn't have ginger beer to make a Moscow Mule. Atmosphere was sort of ghetto, but I guess that's what you get when you have a subpar staff. Brookhaven location is a million times better.

Service is friendly and really great, however the food was really sad. The chicken wings were supposed to be "jumbo"... They were small, but some we were convinced we're Tweety Bird wing it was so small, just a little over an inch :(((( I took a picture but unfortunately there is no way to post it or you would really be laughing yourself silly!!!!

I hang out here just about every other day and I love the place. It's huge and very modern. The food is above bar food and the selection of drinks is awesome. Service is great and staff is friendly and very helpful. This is a good hang out place.

Huge, and the times I was there, extremely crowded...I was there to watch NfL football. The menu is large but generic pub food. I'm a fan of the appetizers (especially potato chips with blue cheese dip) and the Harvest Salad (tasty maple vinigarette dressing enhances the cranberries on this salad). Giant portions, so order accordingly. As a good sports bar, hudson grille has a gazillion screens, multiple rooms, and efficient servers who are there to get you as many rounds of drinks as possible. The parking lot in this plaza is huge, though the spots are really close together.

I came here with my sister one day just to find something to eat and watch TV the boxing game happens beyond for the women's UFC and it was so exciting to sit there and have two dollar shots and eat chili cheese tater tots and have great food to eat! You must try the spinach dip I am in love with it! The people are friendly it is huge and have plenty of space to sit and they have tall table so you can swing your feet! Have a large bar with plenty of seats! And a large screen TVs! They seem popular they have different night specials I want to come back and try all of them!

I feel like the 2 1/2 stars really might throw people off from coming here, but it's definitely at least 3 to me. Granted I have only ever come here on weekdays and it is DEAD so there's that. Although giving it a three seems weird, I like everything about coming here minus some of the service. There's lots of TVs, the $5 drinks are pretty good, the place feels comfy for sitting for hours, and I'd say the food's better than Taco Mac. For being a sports bar though I'd think they might get some hostesses who can at least think logically. I said I wanted to make sure I could watch a hockey game and I came in wearing a red shirt for said team. She tries to tell me the group is over in this room but there isn't probably any room. They were of course NOT there to watch the same game and I was trying to ask a different question entirely and I didn't like that she just wanted to assume that. So she put me in a booth though I had kind of wanted to sit at the bar, but whatever. I had like two TVs just for me. The service this first time was kind of meh, like I had wanted to take advantage of there being 2 for 1 appetizers or 50% off them whatever it was, but it required buying two and I was never given the chance. I figured I wouldn't really ever try again by myself since maybe that's why she wasn't very helpful, and ended up here after there was no way I'd make it home in time to watch a Montreal/Boston game and figured I'd at least catch the first period here and eat something. Of course at the same time it started storming and you know how satellites and storms go so that definitely didn't go over into wanting to stick around. Also my server was talking to the table behind me about how girls don't go to sports bars unless they're dragged by a guy. HA. HAHAHAHA. Excuse me? Also he was one of those types that sits down with you to take your order, nope. But the marinated mozzarella BLT was really really good. So that's why I say 3 stars instead of 2. Also that time I had two TVs for me. That was amusing.

Can I give them no stars? Here to watch a NFL game, yes I know it's a Saturday but is it really that confusing as to how to staff your bar? I've been sitting here an hour and a half and still haven't been served water. When I politely asked a waitress if we could order, she promptly got in an argument with a colleague over who had to take another table (neither wanted to). Alas 30 minutes after I ordered my drink she informs me that it is no longer available so would I like a different option. The game might actually be over before I get my food. I will NEVER come back here.

Very inconsistent service. Doesn't seem like the servers are trained very well. Some servers are ok some are horrible. Nearly every time I order a martini there is lipstick on my glass. Management doesn't care about your concerns.

One of the best Sports Bars on the North side of Atlanta OTP. I've come here to watch games with several different Associations and Meetup groups and probably visit at least 30x a year as the seasons rotate through. From my Buckeye Alumni Association to GIANTS football, we've reserved every bar and private room this place offers. HD TVs, HD TVs everywhere... they have them above you, around you, across from you, any direction you look. There isn't a bad seat in the house, because every single seat is staring at three to four 42" minimum HD sets featuring live action sports. Several rooms even feature ginormous wall size projection displays. This sports bar facility is massive. It can and does host 3-4 separate private groups at a time. From the main bar area with it's mix of bar, high-top, tables and booth seating to the fairly large outdoor patio, they also have 3 private rooms and bars in the back with ping-pong, pool, and indoor shuffleboard. It's like a gigantic Man Cave. What you need to know before you go is that HG maintains contracts with a lot of different groups and associations with viewing rights for their particular teams in particular rooms. So on any given College Football Saturday or NFL Sunday, you could watch the bar morph from Bulldog to Buckeye to Syracuse or FSU bar as the Game Day progresses. Same thing on Sundays. For the rest of the MLB, NHL, NBA, and Soccer seasons, they offer a mix of games. The audio playing depends on how much of the bar is reserved for what association and what the premier game at that particular time is. It's not like other sports bars who typically have the tv's split up between all active games at that time. Some find this off putting, so better to read about it now than be shocked when you get there. Aside from the viewing experience, the food has gotten much better over the past few years. The double sided menu features a wide range of appetizers, massive salads, traditional meat-and-two dishes, and sandwiches / wraps galore. I love the Cobb and Greek salads, Meatloaf, and any of the wraps. Service here can be hit or miss. It's not necessarily bad, but can get slow when the place packs out. The servers are also subject to the many restrictions of management and trying to get your negotiated group discount or just the check at the end of the game can be trying. But trade offs come with everything. The restrooms are small given how many patrons they serve, and can often get nasty pretty fast. However, when I compare my game day experiences at Hudson Grille to the other options I have available to me, I'll take the HG every time. There is something about masses of people all rooting for the same team that makes the viewing experience all the more better. I'm a fan

2 people at my table of 8 said their food was cold. My baked wings were meh at best. Food is slow coming out on football Sundays and there is not enough waitstaff. I'm a regular here. My NFL fan club and college alumni association is here as well, so I'm here 3 times a month at least from September through March. I suggest you hit up Wendy's or Smashburgers beforehand and grab a drink at the bar. If you must eat here, get the hummus. It's good and impossible to mess up.

Visited Hudson Grille for a trivia "tournament." Sadly, we did not place, being surrounded by a room full of true trivia titans. But we always have fun playing, and that is the whole point. As I keep saying, they call it "trivia" for a reason. So, as long as the food is good, and the company is friendly, I am a happy man. (I really do get to hang with some really great folks). Hudson Grille is a Metrotainment Cafes Concept. The Metrotainment bit did slightly raise my expectations. In the end, it's clear Hudson Grille is just another nice sports bar. My burger just seemed average, but my friends report that the salad on "special event" menu was outstanding. And the Philly Cheesteak looked really good. Here's the thing that sets this review at four stars instead of three: Our server took VERY good care of us. She was attentive. She and her peers were also fast and friendly. Our glasses were never empty. And every request was fulfilled quickly. I'll happily go back for another event here. Holler if you're coming with.

They have ok food. Nothing terribly bad but I can't think of anything I really enjoy there. We usually go there for Monday lunch because of their burger special. It's a good deal. You get a decent burger w/ a side for $5.99, I believe. Can't beat that. The servers are pretty friendly. I've had no problems with them. But they are so slow. It takes a long time to get the food. Not sure why. I've been there when they're fairly busy and after their lunch rush is over. They are consistantly slow. Also, it looks like they have a new manager every few weeks. Weird. I probably wouldn't go there too often if not for the burger special.

Three stars because this is a great place to watch a game. A lot of t.v.'s with good visibility and you are sure to find whatever sport you are in to. It is a huge place with a huge bar. I bet it's a lot of fun during a Falcon's game! My sandwich was just OK though. I had the BBQ Chicken and Cheddar Club because the Bartender said it was his favorite and our course, I was having trouble deciding what I wanted to order! The fries were good but I thought the sandwich was a little dry and not as flavorful as I expected. I tried my friends sweet potato fries and those were really good. They come with a marshmallow sauce for dipping which was a unique accompaniment. The menu didn't have many healthy options which was another downfall in my opinion. It did, however, have a good variety of options all of which are perfect game day food but expect you will be hitting the gym for two hours the next day! I would give this place another try when I back in town.

Unfortunately this was not one of the good experiences here. I came with 5 other friends tonight for a nice night of trivia and fun. That quickly turned into the slowest, poorest, and hilarious experience ever at this location. Now I must say that my wife and I have been before and haven't had issues. Tonight was different. Conrad, the manager, and Caleb, the server, teamed up for a poor shooting night. Caleb took all 6 orders, WROTE THEM DOWN, and then proceeded to put them in. After about 45 min the food came out. 2 orders with fries were cold. My wife ordered grilled tilapia and it came out fried. My order didn't come at all, and one friend said he wasn't ordering bc they got off on the wrong foot bc it took 25 minutes just to bring water. So after Caleb drops the food off, doesn't ask if anyone else needs anything, no one checks on the table for a while. Food is incorrect. A friend from the table finds the manager and tells him. Then a mystery food runner checks on us. Brings a replacement meal fort wife which is now chicken! Oh I forgot to mention the server came out prior to this and said "the kitchen is backed up. They will not be making your grilled tilapia wrap." In what restaurant service is that okay??? So eventually they got her food right. Not once did the manager come back to the table to checkup on us. Not did the server ask anyone else at the table of they needed anything. No ketchup, mustard, or mayo. Then they has the nerve to offer is a round of free random shots that looked like grenadine and OJ. In the end our while table got our meals for free. The server continued to bring only me refills in water (my friends aren't thirsty?) and we never saw Conrad a again. Bottom line is that everyone has a bad shooting night. It's how you recover that makes the difference. Maybe tomorrow will be better??? It will be awhile before we go back to this location.

I've pretty much given up on this place. the restaurant is half empty but we've been waiting an hour to get our food. waitress is absent. this is common in my experience. its always chaos. the food isn't good enough to overcome the horrid service.

Yesterday meant only a quick break between working lunch and a catering dinner. So lunch needed to be in the Sandy Springs - ish area and we settled on Hudson Grille as I was too tired to get more creative and it's around the corner from work for me. I must say, I like the Brookhaven store a lot better. This HG is ginormous, which is fine, but the staff is less attentive than at the location I'm accustomed to visiting. J and I sat at the bar, me arriving first, and it seemed like everything we ordered from water to his cocktail to food took too long or required a second request. There were a number of things that look good on the menu, and it seemed to me some changes since I'd last been to a Hudson Grille, Given the time constraint and my lack of creativity, we went with a small Caesar (tasty) and chicken fingers and fries (just ok - the fingers were a bit overdone). Fair enough for bar food, but nothing exciting. Not a place I expect to become a regular, but a fair choice if you're in this part of town and want standard bar fare in a pleasant atmosphere.

Hudson Grille Sandy Springs opened late 2011/early 2012 in the former KC Pit BBQ space. I joined some friends here Saturday night (St. Patrick's Day) to watch some NCAA tournament 3rd round games. I'm a fan of Hudson Grille's Midtown and Brookhaven locations because they're great places to watch sports. I'm not so much a fan of the food, but that's how it goes with sports bars. Hudson Grille Sandy Springs sets itself apart from the other Hudson Grilles by having a noticeably bigger space. This place is huge, almost cavernous, and filled with plenty of shiny new HD displays. The bar is long and the restaurant has plenty of seating of all types: tables, booths, and high-tops. Outdoor patio seating is available too. Perfect for groups and large crowds can easily be handled. Also different at this location is a small section with arcade games. Bar food is on the menu here: burgers, salads, sandwiches, hot dogs, wings, nachos, etc. Prices are reasonable with most items under $10 each. Some of the bigger plates, such as ribs, steak, and fish, are more. Portion sizes are large. We tried the Spinach Dip ($5.95) to start. This cheese-spinach dip is spicy and comes with warm tortilla chips. Not bad. I had the Ty Cobb Salad ($9.95, Cobb salad named after Ty Cobb, Georgia baseball player) which comes with turkey, chopped egg, tomatoes, onions, cucumbers, bacon, avocado, and blue cheese. I've tried a handful of salads at the various Hudson Grille locations around town and the Cobb is my least favorite. Just not very good. The lettuce and other veggies were fresh enough, but the bacon was rock hard and the bowl just wasn't very appetizing. At least it was filling, which is one thing I do appreciate about their salads. Rodrick was our server and he did a great job. A manager came to check on us during our meal, which was nice. Atmosphere on Saturday night was loud and boistrous -- mainly due to St. Patty's Day. The restaurant had audio for one of the games turned up, but it was hard to decipher what the announcers were saying because of the noise. Ample parking outside.

This is my favorite location because it is larger than the others and we never have to wait long to be seated. There are a large number of tv screens and no bad seats in the house for game time. I may just host a superbowl party here... Some of their food choices are questionable but the sweet potato tots and marshmallow sauce are dreamy. Their burgers are delightful and affordable. The shooters menu is extensive and well priced as are their drink specials. Staff is speedy and it's not a bad place to hang with your friends in large numbers.

We came on a Monday night to avoid the crowds. First we ordered the sweet potato fries which came out quick and my husband found them tasty enough. I preferred wings with the sweet and spicy sauce and onion rings. The hubby ordered the nachos and added chicken. The wings would have been good, but the sauce was weird. Maybe not my taste. The onion rings were nothing special and needed a dipping sauce. The nachos were disgusting. My hubby who usually cleans his plate barely ate a fourth of the plate. I tasted them and they were yucky. We won't be returning.

This version of Hudson Grill in Sandy Springs is basically the opposite of the Brookhaven location. First of all, the Sandy Springs one is about 3 times bigger. Seriously, I don't think there is a bigger sports bar in the entire metro Atlanta area. There are separate rooms and areas too, so I like that it's not just one big square space (and there is a patio too). There are a ridiculous amount of TVs here. And unlike the Brookhaven location, parking is not a headache. On the flip side, there is definitely no "scene" here. You can go to the Brookhaven location on a random weekend night and will typically see a fun young crowd. There is none of that here- I've been here on a Sat evening and the place was virtually empty (they show PPV MMA fights, so it does get packed during those nights). This location is better suited for actually watching sports, as opposed to going to socialize. And since the place is so large, you can roll up right before the game starts with a big group, and instantly get a table with a nice TV view. No stressing out about going 2 hours before kickoff to secure a "good" table (which I've done at the Brookhaven location before). But there is one main reason I like coming here- it's completely free to play ping pong and shuffleboard! Nothing like having some beers and playing these games (which are hard to find ITP). The nice thing is the ping pong table is netted off, so no worries about the balls flying all over the bar. There are also two full-length shuffleboard tables. In addition, they have pool tables, foosball, and darts (though these are all coin operated). In terms of food- it's typically sports bar food. Don't expect too much and you'll be fine. Bottom line- come here for the TVs and games, not the scene.

So much potential! The food here is pretty good for a sports bar, but the service is awful! Our waitress was very sweet, but slow! All of our food came out luke warm, at best, like it had been sitting under a heat lamp or something for too long. We ordered: - Roasted Corn Lobster Dip: Very good! One of the only things that came out at the right temperature! - Giant Soft Pretzel St icks: Good, but still FROZEN on the bottom!! - Cajun Andouille Sausage: Was very good, but again, barely warm when it got to the table! The bun was hard as a rock by this time! I asked for spicy mustard, and onions....waited....waited....waited.....ate half my sausage....still waiting... - My husband ordered the sliders, and didn't have any complaints. There are lots of big screens, lots of space, the staff was nice, but I don't know what the problem with the food was! People like hot food, right?! I'll give this place another chance.

Came with family after a long day of house hunting. The crowd was very diverse and the staff really friendly. Everyone enjoyed their meals. I picked the black bean burger which was amazing. My favorite treat was the queso/spinach dip that I have yet to find a rival on. The drinks were generous as well as reasonable. I will definitely be back!

I really wish I could give this place 4 stars, but it fell a little bit short for me on my visit. A friend and I have hit nearly every place in the A with ping pong tables, and the Olympics had him fired up to go a few rounds, so we decided to check out Hudson. We sat at the bar and had a couple of drinks from the friendly bartenders, then decided to eat dinner, as well. We both got the black bean burger, Pedro's Delight style, topped with guac and spicy mayo. Very tasty sandwich! My tots were on point, but his fries were a little soggy. We were a tiny bit disappointed that, with the 5-6 TVs over the bar, the only Olympic sport being shown was judo, while several TVs were dedicated to various MLB games. But to each his own, I suppose! After finishing our burgers, we were fired up for a little table tennis action...only to discover that the entire back part of the restaurant (including ALL the games) had been blocked off for a private event. Unless we could have figured out somehow to party crash this company shindig, ("You don't recognize me? I work in the...accounting department?") we were outta luck. It's a bummer that they do this, when they could let private events have one or both of the side bars adjacent to the games, without keeping other patrons from enjoying the games, too. I hope I get another chance to stop in and update my review. Lots of potential here!

This is a really chill.spot. the food is good and the drink specials are awesome. This is a really great spot for those we just want ti grab a quick bite and a few drinks and watch the game. The amount of tv's they have here is ridiculous.

First off, the only reason fir the second star is the awesome investment they made in making a great place to WATCH sports with a ton of great TVs. Thats where the positives end. If you go on a very slow night and get the right staff, it might earn 3*. However, I've been here a handful of times and always come away a little disappointed, but this past Saturday pretty much did them in for me. The other reviews regarding rude/slow service are spot on. I'm not convinced there is anyone even managing the place. The food is not as good as some of the other options available, and when it comes out cold (twice out of 3 times I've been able to eat there) you're just glad it even showed up at all. Perhaps my biggest peeve was the last visit I alluded to above. When I asked for a table for 3, I had to wait over 5 minutes for the hostess to come back and say one word with a buzz-off attitude: "Nuthin'." With several empty tables clearly visible, and given past experiences, I didn't even bother to ask for an explanation or wait time. Thanks for "nuthin'" Hudson Grille. I'll stick with a Taco Mac or Twisted Taco where they at least pretend to want your business.

i had zero expectations meeting friends at another chain bar/grill. I ordered fish tacos with chips and salsa. Salsa was great i had to order more. Fish taco was just right but very drippy. Nothing napkins can't fix when used to wrap one end of my fish taco from dripping into my sleeves. We went on a trivia night so it was fun. Sweet potato fries were crispy and awesome. Service was great. We played in the back room after our meal shooting pool, shuffle board, and ping pong table and had a great time. I was surprised that their food was actually decent for a bar/pub. Only bad thing is sitting on Roswell Road where traffic is always ridiculous. Will not likely visit this location because of this but i'm down for their fish tacos again.

I was excited about trying this location of Hudson Grille as I use to frequent the Brookhaven location often when I lived in that area, but these two Hudson Grille locations are miles apart in both service and food quality. After arriving at this location we were seated right away, but waited way too long to be greeted by our server who was just awful. We ordered our drinks which took a long time to arrive at our table, the appetizer actually made it out before the drinks did. For dinner we all ordered burgers that also took forever to come out from the kitchen and when they arrived they were cold; so I guess they must have sat in the window for a while before the server brought them out. While I was eating my cold burger the server brought a beer out that I didn't order and put it in front of me. I didn't want another beer, but she the server was no where to be found so I ended up drinking it anyway. After dinner we waited and waited for the server to come back to pick up the dishes and bring us our check. Finally she showed up and brought us our check leaving the dishes on the table. We paid our bill and agreed to not return to this location of Hudson Grille again.

For what it's worth I've only been here once so take that into consideration. That being said I had a perfectly acceptable experience. The server was a nice girl if a bit intrusive. I was trying to work for goshdurn's sake. I ordered a turkey burger and fries. The burger was well seasoned and fairly large. It had either been made in house or at least wasn't a run-of-the-mill Jenny O patty. Fries were thin and tasty. Not much more to say. I sat on the far side where it is much more cozy. I'm not a fan of the huge area of tables. *They have free wifi courtesy of scoutmob

I definitely love this location thus far in comparison to the other Hudson Grilles. Location Location Location. However the one in midtown centrally is the best location but behind that is this location on Roswell Road. I find this location to be great because of the location but plenty of parking without the thought of getting towed (Throwing Brookhaven location under the bus). Inside is very spacious, it isn't overly crowded or wall to wall (in which I do like). There flat screen TV's are off the hook. Their meeting room in the back is grand enough to have a big party and look forward to the football season there with the big projector screen. The staff, service people are very nice, courteous and I'm still debating on pushing this to a 5th star. As far as the food, no different than the other locations. Great beer specials, great fries, great chicken wraps, ultimate nachos con pollo are still top notch. Definitely no major if any -- zero complaints here. You can't beat free PPV boxing or UFC/MMA fights. If I become a fan of the Hudson Grille franchise, it's because of the Brookhaven location but the SS location has won me over. Grade: B

I did not know what to expect when I first checked this place out with friends for Wednesday night trivia! I saw everything from Mercedes to grocery getters in the parking lot. Good sign! The first thing that struck was the size. This place is enormous!! I got a work out checking into the layout. They have a front bar as you walk in and a back bar that is a little more intimate and classy. Seating is spacious and relaxed. Just like the cars... the cliental was extremely broad. I feel confortable in whatever I am wearing every time. The food: I have had the standard burger and fries as well as the boneless wings. The burger was FANTASTIC for the price. I was a little disappointed by the wings. My friends salads are HUGE and appear majestic in every sense of the word. It seem the theme for the place is eclectic. There is both room for all and food for all. If you want to catch "the game" you should have no problem It feels like there is 1 tv for every 2 people in here.

This Hudson Grille is one of the biggest sports bars I've ever seen. Big, beautiful new televisions everywhere, games, 2 big bars, and private rooms make this a great place to watch a sporting event or hold a watch party with friends. The bad news is that behind the shiny new interior is the same average Hudson Grille food and service. The wings are dry and not good. The rest of the menu is just average. However, I have to say the craft beer options are nice. If you don't want to fight the Taco Mac crowd for a game, it's a good option but I wish they would improve the food and service.

Great for the boys. Plenty of flat screen hd televisions. As for me? I see no reason for me to be here unless I'm with a group of guys wanting to watch a game. And that would never happen because I'd be with the girls if that were the case. Also the tater tots were soggy; grim face. The location is great because it's in a shopping center with a huge parking lot.

When I walked into this place I couldn't believe how big it was for a sports bar. There is one huge room with tons of TVs, booths, tables and a bar. At the far end of this room the building branches off into other rooms - another dining room, another dedicated bar and a large game room with pool tables, shuffleboard, etc. The food was pretty good. I had a chicken entree with some sweet potato fries that weren't by any means the best I've ever had...but again, pretty decent. The server was friendly and overall, the experience was pleasant. I'm not into sports but wound up here and enjoyed the experience nonetheless.

Absolutely horrible. The food is decent but the the tea is discussing. The soup tasted watered down and almost like it had drywall in it (strange I know). When we tried to tell the manager he was telling us that it was fine and that we had nothing to worry about. Most certainly will not be coming back.

Stopped in here Saturday night on my way home from work, I was craving a burger but few places nearby are open after 11pm, so after passing everything and striking out I pulled in here to give them a chance. Located just North of the intersection where Trader Joe's is, it's easy to spot Southbound but sneaks up on you if you're headed North. Parking lot is big enough for a huge crowd and it was busy that night so I parked several rows away, but it wasn't any trouble. It's a big place. Walking inside I felt a little intimidated, there's tons of room and TVs literally everywhere, including a couple of massive ones that take up the whole wall. The bar is big as well, shaped like a J, with seating for I'd guess 40-50 people. I picked a spot right in the corner of the J, where there was room, and what seemed to be the prime spot to order something. It wasn't. There were maybe four bartenders behind the bar, all busy but not swamped, but even after looking each of them in the eye and waiting it took a timed 11 minutes before I was approached. The one who did, a younger black girl, came from nearly the other end of the bar to check on me, the three closer people just never bothered to speak. This did give me plenty of time to survey the scene, tons of yuppie socialite pricks in here, very Buckhead feeling, and the one guy sitting three stools away from me had his legs up on the stools, and for some reason kept squirming around which made the stools bump into each other and nearly knock me off mine twice. I wasn't in the mood to be a dick to the guy and call him out (thus guaranteeing a fight), and I honestly should have just gave up and left, but I was hungry. After receiving both menus I picked a beer and food item, then waited a bit more while the still only bartender who noticed me catered to a group farther down. At exactly 22 minutes after sitting down, my beer arrived. The draft list is pretty good, better than I expected, and the pour was bigger than I would have guessed. That's a plus. I ordered the burger the next time she came by, and waited it out while dickhole next to me kept kicking all the stools. 42 minutes after arriving, my burger came out. Dickhole had finally left so I could eat in some peace, and the tots were really good, the burger not so much. Dry and just a touch overcooked, with very little seasoning of any kind. Still, it was my only option at nearly midnight now and I gulped it down for the most part with a second beer to wash it down. I'm sure on a less busy night, the service is better. It would have to be or they'd piss off everyone. But there's no way in Hell I'm going again on a weekend if I ever do decide to return. I don't have that much free time to sit and be ignored.

Ordered chicken nachos....looked great but I think the sour cream and diced tomatoes on top must have cooled them off so they needed to be heated up. Atmosphere is similar to a Taco Mac but nicer and not as loud. Hubby got the Harvest Salad and was pleased. Kids' meal fine. Came with cupcake but it was very cold, almost dry. Will give it another shot.

I went with my roommate to Hudson Grille last week. There was a short wait for a table, but they were crowded, so no big deal. The hostess led us to our table (a high-top table near the bar). As we sat down, the table pivoted and rocked back and forth, knocking over the salt and pepper shaker. Knowing I was going to have a beer, I realized this might not be good (potentially spilling my beer...that would make me cry)!! So, I said to the hostess..."this table wobbles a good bit, the salt & pepper just tipped over." She said "oh, ok, well, that happens sometimes." Ok...so we sat there waiting on the server. I did take whatever promotional cardboard tented flier they had on the table, bent it up and put under the table leg. Sorry, advertisers that paid for the promotional material, but the hostess wasn't concerned and I had to make sure my beer wasn't going to spill (again, causing me to have to cry). It helped a little, but not 100% They have a lot of televisions in HG. All except 3 of them were turned to the same channel - a fighting event. The other three had hockey or baseball. We sat to be able to see baseball (it was the Braves, after all...and this is Atlanta...well, Sandy Springs...but still). As we sat waiting for our server, which was a good 10 - 15 minutes, we watched the baseball game and eyed the taps for beer ideas. AND, of course, as we're watching tv, someone changes the channel to hockey. We looked around and no one was watching that particular television but us...no idea why it was changed. Atlanta isn't a hockey town...our team even left us!! I have nothing against hockey (I enjoyed going to many Thrashers games), but why change it from baseball when there is already another tv showing the same hockey game? The server FINALLY showed up and said 'what do y'all want'? REALLY? 'what do y'all want?' We ordered the beer and looked at each other...not really going well so far at HG. After waiting another 15 minutes (the beer had not arrived and our food order had not been taken), we decided to leave. I would feel bad if I thought the beer would be wasted, but I doubt the server turned in the order and I doubt he was planning to ever return to our table. So, we went to Tilted Kilt....and that didn't go much better, but that story's on another review. I truly wanted to give Hudson Grille my money, but they didn't want it. And, they don't get any of my future money, either. Will go to Taco Mac from now on. Will not return to Hudson Grille.

Definitely have the Nachos and sweet potato fries with melted marshmallow dipping sauce. Great place to watch your favorite team play must have over 100 TVs. Also had a massive outdoor seating area for the nice days. Full draft beer line and a lot of specialty cocktails

This is a new and pretty typical of most of the Hudson grilles around Atlanta. The staff is pretty much normal, the food was the quality expected from an establishment such as itself. The only only complaint I can think of is access. Depending on what side of the road your coming in from it is pretty tough to get in and out of. It much bigger than other Hudson grilles I have seen. I'd like to see what it is like when it is really busy. I went on a monday night football night and it was actually pretty slow.

I have never been to a Hudson Grille before but this new location opened up right down the street so I had to go. First thing, this place is huge! It has one gigantic bar at the main entrance and a smaller bar farther into the place. There are two pool tables, shuffleboard table, air hockey, darts, and more. Second thing, great menu with a lot of variety. I have tried almost everything from there from turkey burgers, wings to salads and cheesecake. I love it all! The only thing lacking is their wings. Being a wing connoisseur, I am quite picky and their sauces are lacking. Their drinks....smaller beer selection than Taco Mac but still good. They have a drink menu though that looks more like a small book. Their quirky titled drinks are just as good as they sound (my favorite is bull sweat #69...try if you dare). I really love this place and for my "drinking nights", this is the place!

This place is huge! So many things to keep you and your kids entertained. We stopped in recently and had a pitcher of beer and some wings. They had a 9.99 special for Yuengling pitchers which was a deal. The wings were big and meaty, but they sauces left much to be desired. I would Not suggest the samurai. If you like your wings "Hot" I would most up to the next spicier sauce. The Worst thing about our visit was the blue cheese. They had obviously watered it down too much because it was like soup. Really gross! We will definately be back because the atmosphere is great and the staff is fun we will probably just order different food.

We came here for the UFC fights, they have plenty of seats because this place is huge. They have a lot of TVs even they have some that facing the parking lot, so people can watch from their cars outside the restaurant, sweet, but I prefer to get in and get some nachos. They also have pool tables and some games, very nice place to hang out. Their food are good, my favorite is the Nachos and the $5 martinis. Waiters are nice and it's now my favorite spot to watch the UFC fights. Will I come back? absolutely!

Of all the Hudson Grilles in ATL, this one is the best. Their beer menu is respectable for a chain, and there is plenty of space to sit down at the bar, at a table, or on the patio. This place is literally enormous. The menu itself is standard for Hudson, so nothing unique here. But as far as sports bars go, their menu is far from the worst. I haven't been in when it's super busy, so I don't know how the service is during crunch times. But overall the staff seemed friendly and chatty (but not overly so), and it wasn't hard to get a bartender's attention.

Volume Overload should be the title of my review. You would think that during football season one would not have a party in the backroom let alone volumes that make even airport workers cringe. I just came to watch some college football games, but apparently hearing the latest twerking songs overpowering poor Lou Holtz, this really wasn't the place to be. It gets better, the manager (David Gillespie) essentially told me if I didn't like it leave now, to which I said I don't walk out on my tab and they would call the police on me. Just so happened there was one and given her unfortunate task and no ear plugs off duty officer at the party who basically told the manager just comp the meal and make sure I true everything up. Our waitress I felt bad for since her tables were in preparation of mass exodus. We made sure to tip a full 25% on the meal since her service was the best part of the night. The manager obviously could care less about his waitstaff, which is funny since they will keep people around longer to spend more. She really was a sweetheart and the manager should be ashamed at how rude he spoke to the women patrons in the restaurant (which is why I opened my mouth in the first place). I'm going to talk to the owner or email him since pulling me over to speak to an off duty cop really I think crossed the line and comping a meal is not enough especially with his tone. If you were the manager and on duty feel free to message me on how to make this right. I've been a Metrotainment customer since starting college in town in 2001, I'd like to think my loyalty would be worth something? UPDATE 10/21: The owner Jeff Landau did respond to my email and apologize for the issue, but only promised to make everything better going forward. He did try to apologize for the manager's behavior, but stated "I can assure you that David Gillespie is a very accomplished hospitality professional who strives to continually improve our guests' experience." I understand there are two sides to the story, but the facts are he did escort me over to a police officer which no matter how you look at it is embarrassing for both parties. Very disappointing and will not be back to this location.

Really disappointed. This is an "official" game-watching location for Georgia Tech, and when we arrived our designated area was full. Other areas were empty, so we sat nearby and ordered food and drinks. We asked the manager to put the game on one of the TVs near us. Despite the many TVs and the fact that we were paying customers who were already there, he said he would need to change the channel for other fans in 2 hours. (Their game wasn't until 7:30, and it was only 3:30.) The waitress rarely came, and when she did she acted like it was a chore to serve us. What a terrible way to treat customers. We won't be back.

I'm knocking off another star. I do think that the waitstaff and bartenders have improved but after waiting an hour this weekend for my food I canceled my order. The couple next to me got theirs after waiting 1 hour 12 mins. I walked by the kitchen area, what an unmitigated disaster. My friends are discussing returning to Taco Mac as our regular destination.

I am going to preface this review and say that I love hudson grill. I normally go to the one in alpharetta, but some friends and I decided to check this one out last night since it was kinda new. I would have given this 5 stars but the service was so bad... so so so so so bad. I hate saying this because my 2 friends and I are all in the industry and everyone has an off night, but it was just so bad. It took 15 minutes to get our drinks and the server had to return to our table 3 times before they even came out. She didn't know what we ordered, then she came back and told my friend they were out of the vodka to make her cocktail but brought my drink and what we thought was my other friend's drink. Nope, then she comes back and says she got everything mixed up and that the drinks were wrong. So instead of getting us new drinks she just switched them around and gave us all drinks that the other one was drinking (not a huge deal since we're all girlfriends but WTH!). That is just the first round of drinks. I could bore you with the rest of the details of the evening (there were plenty of other mistakes including our checks needing to be fixed 3 different times). Other than the service, the food was awesome. The only thing was that the "broccoli cheddar soup" was more like broccoli water and what at one time was probably cheese. I had the turkey avocado pannini and we had pretzel sticks as an app. The sandwich was amazing and the pretzels were a nice change from the normal queso or spinach dip. My two companions enjoyed the salads they got. I'll still give it another try just because I liked the food so much, but if you decide to go... don't say I didn't warn you about the service.

This is no sports bar. Went in to watch a basketball game and music was playing. I asked them to replace the music with sound from the game. The waiter mumbled something about contractual obligations. An hour later a very meaningless football game (LSU vs. Arkansas) came on. The sound of the game immediately came on. Don't lie to me. Just say we are going to game sound of the football game and didn't want to have to switch sound.

Big. Loud. Not very tidy. Bathrooms are in a terrible state. Menu is so not interesting. Went to see SEC Championship game here with a large party - really packed, which led to slower service. Staff is pleasantly clueless. Friendly enough, but not really attentive or overly helpful. The food could be a strong point for this operation. Alas, it is more of an area of failure than success. A visit to a food show, or maybe the services of a menu consultant should be a top priority. To put it more plain - in the words of the Beastie Boys - the menu thinks it's "chocolate milk but" it's "watered down yoohoo" Taco Mac just down Roswell will treat you much better. Do yourself a favor and skip this place.

Well I just left here about 2 hours ago where I started off as a partially satisfied customer, that is until I was walking out the door with my family! The food was good, our service was decent. The waitress kept forgetting my drink order and she was kind of a dull personality to be around also. I was eating dinner with my fiance and 2 young daughters for a late nite bite. Like I said pretty good food and decent service but when I was leaving as we got to the exit AFTER the waitress had seen us leave money for the check, the manager a short funny looking man who wasn't exactly well dressed enough to be taken serious as a manager got in front of the door and said hey did you pay your bill??No excuse me sir or pardon me just rude and desperate like I was his wife leaving him. I didnt even know he was talking to me since my waitress had seen us pay already, but he was and I calmly said ofcourse, cash and a nice tip, he then second guesses me and says are you sure? I said yes I did now go talk to your waitress, the one whos dealt with me all night and you have been nowhere to be found. I walked my family to the car because my girls were getting scared and the manager had caused such a big scene at the main entrance it was embarrasing. I came back to speak to the man and he tried to pretend like he didn't see me. I approached him and the only thing he could tell me was he has people watching people and "they" said I did not pay.He exclaimed that people ran out all the time and he did not want that to happen.Really, on Roswell rd? Are you saying you can't handle your restaurant accordingly? Okay you are a manager why are you chasing people out the door which is dangerous for 1 and 2 why haven't you checked with your waitress to see if I paid or not. You are a multimillion-dollar restaurant and I just paid $75 plus tips and you are worried about me enought to be chasing me out of the door with two small children and a wife? very embarrassing for you and your restaurant!I felt completely profiled and discriminated against not to mention it was in the entrance in front of the servers the hostess and customers and people at the bar. A humiliating experience!!! Glad I kept my composure and did not hurt the small man with thrift store looking clothes on.I will not return to the grill and I actually had plans of bringing family there which i discussed while eating but this is definitely not the place for me or my family or anyone who has any pride or respect of themselves. What restaurant do you know watches families with children order a hundred dollars of food and chase them to the front door when there is hundreds of customers around getting drunk and hanging out.it would be nice to hear a response from Hudson Grille but I doubt they care about things like this considering the way management handled the situation.I know about customer service being the restaurant that you are in an upscale community I would like to school you and explain that customer service is number 1. $75 from a family is not a priority.

Ok, I skipped church on Superbowl Sunday. But I will be praying for the next few hours for Eli Manning and I am pretty sure God likes him too. Watching the Superbowl at the new Hudson Grill on Roswell Road in Sandy Springs. LOVE it here!! Us Sandyspringers have needed a new sports bar ever since the old Frankies closed. I have so many wonderful memories there and have missed it so much. I am so happy to have a home base sports bar again! Hurray! We got here around 4:30 so that we could get a table. Got a perfect table in the middle of all of the commotion. Our server, Eloisa, is amazing. My beautiful daughter Lisa and my husband are here with me. I have already seen about 20 people that I know and am having a wonderful time. The sports bar experience is about so much more than food. It is ambiance, camaraderie, fellowship, fun, visibility, sound, service. They have it all here. AND the food is excellent. My husband had the Ty Cobb salad that was HUGE and great and healthy. Lisa had a side salad that was a perfect size, basic and good. Our friends ordered wings, that were hot and great and ALL drumstick! The service is amazing (thank you Eloisa!) and I am happy to be here! Lisa says the Patriots will win because the Giants front four will get tired and the Belicheck/Brady Patriots will start playing like the the Belicheck/Brady Patriots of old. The Giants will be unable to stop it. Not only is she beautiful, but she KNOWS football! And is single! Hudson Grill is a winner! Come out and look around for us. We are and will continue to be REGULARS! Good job Hudson Grill!

Roaches Roaches Roaches Was not really impressed with the food or service. Sweet Potatoes Fries were burnt and the food runner keep playing with her buzzcut (hair). Worst of all a roach flew across our table and at the end of it all the server gave us the bill; and went to find the manager that never came to the table.

Not a bad drinking spot - that's for sure. Went here with the girls on a Friday night and was a fan of their shooter specials. The food was ehh, but the drinks were good. A nice place to watch the game, but I still like Taco Mac a hell of a lot better.

Food is not great. I go more so for the atmosphere, clean, and friendly service. Great for after work with co-workers.

Steer clear. Was wary of going as recent reviews indicated it was not up to snuff as yet. Still isn't. For a sports bar one would believe a sweet 16 march madness evening would be an all hands on deck night. Nope. Sparse service. Food needed to be returned and came back wrong. Could barely get a beer. First and last time. Sticking with Taco Mac.

Me and a group of 5 friends went here last Friday 4/27/12 for Video Trivia. This was our 4th time going here overall. The place is nice, big, with plenty of tv's and seating. We really enjoyed our first time there. Then our 2nd time was during March Madness and they were clearly understaffed! I don't get why because they are a new place. Then we came back a 3rd time for Trivia and had a good time again. So this past Friday we went again. However, this time the service was the absolute worst! We sat down and we all ordered waters first. Then the waitress came back in a minute and we still weren't ready. Then it was about 30 min before we even saw her again. Once we saw her she would walk right past our table and help the table right next to us multiple times. I asked another waitress to talk to ours and get her to come over. That didn't work. another 15min goes by and I ask the manager to get our waitress. That didn't work. So an hour into Trivia we get up and LEAVE because our waitress just ignored us!! I mean I'm not sure if she had a bad day or if it was because we all ordered waters? BUT C'MON! If she had returned we all wouldve ordered drinks and food and probably had a good time, but no. So we got up and left to go eat at Outback! I usually don't complain about marginal or bad service, but this was just ridiculous!! 1 hour without a word from our waitress...when we could see her helping other tables. We will be finding another place for trivia on Fridays! Hudson Grille, you blew it!

I went with a friend to the newly opened Sandy Springs Hudson Grille. My friend was a frequent customer of Hudson Grille at another location. We were promptly seated, but waited 10 minutes for a server to show up at our table. We ordered beer and a dip. The dip arrived fairly quickly and was decent, but it took the server 10 minutes to bring one beer - they were out of stock on O'Douls and had no alternatives. My friend drank water. I finished my first beer and wanted a second, but the server had disappeared and did not show up for another 20 minutes. He took my order for another beer which took 10 minutes for it to arrive at the table. It was clear that the bar could not handle the volume even though the restaurant was not half full and the servers were not trained to deliver excellent service. I wrote an email to the company and described our experience and never heard back. Neither my friend nor I will be a repeat customer at Hudson Grille (any location). Poor service starts with poor restaurant management which come from poor management at the top.
